2025-26 Dues

State Dues:

California State dues are $30. Chapter Treasurers should collect state dues from all chapter members, then send a check from the chapter, along with a list of chapter members who are paying, to the State Treasurer as follows:

International Dues:

International dues are $40. Members have the option of paying International dues online (see below) using PayPal or a credit card, or they may pay International dues to the Chapter Treasurer, who will then send a check from the chapter. When mailing a chapter check to headquarters, include a list of members who are paying so that dues may be applied to the appropriate accounts. Also include the chapter’s ITE* payment and send to ADK International as follows:

The deadline for International dues and ITE payment is January 1, 2026.  Dues submitted online or postmarked after January 31, 2026 will incur a $5 late fee.  Membership will be suspended for those with unpaid International dues on March 1, 2026.

  • ITE is the International Teacher Education program, established  in 1961 to offer scholars from around the world the opportunity to learn about cutting edge education theory in some of the greatest universities in the world, so they can return to their nations ready to apply their new knowledge to improve education in their home countries.  To help support that opportunity, the Alpha Delta Kappa Foundation provides money to help fund their graduate studies through each chapter’s $20 ITE fee and $1 from each member’s dues.

To pay International dues online, follow these steps:

  1. Go to alphadeltakappa.org and select Sign In at the top right corner.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Once signed in, hover over Members Only and click on Profile from the drop-down menu.
  4. On your profile page click Membership Fees.
  5. On the RENEWAL screen, your membership fees will automatically fill in. If you  would like to make a donation, fill in the amount for each contribution.  The subtotal will update as contributions are added.  Click Add to Cart.
  6. In the Shopping Cart, scroll down to review Transaction Grand Total (this is the amount you are paying). Under Payment Details enter credit card details or select the PayPal button to process the payment.  Click Submit Order at the bottom of the page.

E-Postcards:  All chapter treasurers are required to file state and federal e-postcards: Form 199N to the California Franchise Tax Board and Form 990N to the Federal Internal Revenue Service. Filing these forms by every chapter is essential for Alpha Delta Kappa to retain a tax-exempt status. Look for the directions below.  Be sure to copy the confirmation page for each e-postcard before closing.  Send copies of your confirmation to the State Treasurer.  You may email confirmations to adk.vwilliamson@gmail.com, or send hard copies to:

Financial Summary 2025:  Chapter treasurers need to file their chapter Financial Summary 2025 with International.  Here is a link to the form:  https://form.jotform.com/243394316744158.  This statement should be completed online, then click “Submit,” and it will go directly to International.  If mailed, it must be sent to Alpha Delta Kappa, 1615 W. 92nd Street, Kansas City, MO 64114.  You do not need to send a copy to the State Treasurer, but an email to her indicating you have submitted the form would be appreciated.  Due by June 30, 2025.  See details in the NEW Financial Guide for Treasurers.2023 available at the bottom of this page.

New chapter bank account:  If you are opening a new chapter bank account, the bank may require an “Articles of Incorporation” letter, which is included below on this web page.  You will also need to provide your California chapter EIN number which will be used to verify that your chapter is in good standing, a copy of your chapter’s most recent CA ePostcard, and a copy of your chapter minutes indicating your election as Chapter Treasurer.  You may need a copy of your chapter’s bylaws, which may be found on this website under Bylaws.

Raffle Update:  If you plan to hold a raffle, please complete the required registration form and submit it to the CA Department of Justice.  Updated Directions and the forms are included below.  Raffle fee is now $30.00.
